Theme: Overcoming Obstacles to God’s Power
Acts 5:15-16 tells us that people were so desperate for healing that they would lay the sick in the streets just to be touched by Peter’s shadow. Mark 16:17-18 promises that those who believe will cast out demons, speak in new tongues, and heal the sick.
What’s stopping the flow?
These verses reveal a powerful truth: God’s healing, delivering power is unstoppable. Yet, we often experience blockages in our lives. What’s hindering the flow of God’s power in your life? Is it doubt, fear, unbelief, or perhaps a lack of understanding of God’s promises?
Today, let’s address those blockages.
- Acknowledge the obstacle: Identify what’s hindering the flow of God’s power in your situation.
- Replace fear with faith: Remember the promises in Mark 16:17-18. Believe that God’s power is available to you.
- Step out in faith: Like those who laid the sick in the streets, take a step of faith. It doesn’t have to be big; even a small act of obedience can shift things.
- Expect a miracle: God desires to heal, deliver, and restore. Expect His power to flow through you.
Just as Peter’s shadow brought healing, your life can be a channel for God’s miraculous power. Let’s remove the obstacles and allow the unstoppable flow of God’s Spirit to transform our lives and the world around us.
