Walking in His Favor (part 2)

Walking in His Favor” is living with the confidence that God is already working for your good, even when you can’t yet see the outcome.

In Exodus, God’s favor is not abstract—it’s visible and practical. Though Israel was oppressed, God declared, “I will give this people favor…” (Exodus 3:21). That favor meant they would not leave Egypt empty-handed, but supplied for the journey ahead. God’s favor turns seasons of bondage into seasons of breakthrough, and He ensures His people carry out more than what they came in with.

Galatians 6:9 connects that same favor to our daily obedience: “Let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” Walking in His favor means:

  • Continuing to do what is right when you feel unseen or tired.

Trusting that God has a set “due season” attached to your faithfulness.
  • Believing that your sowing in tears will not be in vain, because God has already ordained a harvest.

So “Walking in His Favor” is not about a trouble-free life; it’s about a faith-filled walk. Like Israel, you may still be in a hard place, but God’s favor is already going ahead of you, positioning people, opportunities, and resources on your path. As you keep doing good and refuse to give up, you will see that favor turn hidden promises into visible blessings.
