Sermon Title: A Great Light
Summary:
This message explores the profound impact of Jesus Christ, the “light of the world,” upon humanity. We’ll delve into the prophecies of Isaiah, who foretold the coming of a child to bring light to a world shrouded in darkness (Isaiah 9:2).
We’ll examine John’s powerful declaration that Jesus is the Word, the true light that gives life to all (John 1:1, 8:12). We’ll consider how Jesus, despite offering Himself as the light, was rejected by many (John 12:46).
Finally, we’ll find solace and hope in the assurance that walking with Christ brings us into His light, allowing us to experience the fellowship and forgiveness He offers (1 John 1:5, 2 Corinthians 4:4).
This message will inspire listeners to embrace the light of Christ, to walk in His truth, and to share His love with the world.
