Our Heritage
The Wave
Our church began as Statesville Full Gospel Tabernacle in October 1979 in the Woodmen of the World Building located on Old Mountain Road by Rev. Robert and Arlene Johnson. As we have grown throughout the years, we moved into our new facility in June 2005 and we continue to experience God’s grace and mercy.
In January 2017, under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, we began the process of changing our name to THE WAVE.
Today, they continue to the ministry, working together, seeing the congregation strengthened and growing in God’s Word and the power of His Spirit.
Our church offers Sunday school classes for all age groups, Praise and Worship during our services and Mid-week Bible study. There are always activities happening around the church.
